Hines, 71, moved to Muskegon in 1982, and founded Hines Corporation in the mid-80s.

His company’s success has led to a lot of giving back over the past 35 years.

His commitment to the Muskegon-area community through civic and charitable efforts will be recognized at the state level.

Hines will be honored with the Governor’s Lifetime Humanitarian Award.
